Oiva Toikka（オイバ・トイッカ）によりデザインされ、1981 – 2015年の間にNuutajarvi（ヌータヤルヴィ）| Iittala（イッタラ）で製作されたバードシリーズ「Fasaani | Pheasant | キジ」です。「ヌータヤルヴィレッド」と評される鮮やかな赤色を内側に閉じ込め、キジの赤い顔を見事に表現しています。この美しい赤はNuutajarviでしか表現できないと言われています。その赤色を「ラスター」とよばれる光沢加工により包んでいて、キジの優美な雰囲気を醸し出しています。渦巻のようなストライプ模様は羽毛を表現しています。キジが本来持っている自然の力強さや美しさを、Toikkaの感性で表現した素晴らしい作品です。30年以上の長い期間製作されていたため、初期と後期でフォルムや色味が異なります。後期は「ヌータヤルヴィレッド」の代わりににブルーが使用されていたようです。

The bright red color called "Nuutajarvi Red" is trapped inside, and the red face of the pheasant is beautifully expressed. It is said that this beautiful red can only be expressed by Nuutajarvi. The red color is wrapped in a glossy process called "raster" to create the graceful atmosphere of the pheasant. The swirl-like striped pattern expresses feathers. It is a wonderful work that expresses the power and beauty of nature that pheasants originally have with Toikka's sensibility. Since it was produced for a long period of more than 30 years, the form and color are different between the early and late stages. It seems that blue was used instead of "Nuutajarvi Red" in the latter period.
